IRM is driven towards advocating and promoting responsible business practices, the Sharing Smile Club of IRM has initiated some activities that are based on the idea of advocating and supporting ethical business practices. These activities, which range from offering free classes to youngsters from economically disadvantaged areas to safeguarding the safety and well-being of animals on and around the campus, are motivated by a sensitive and passionate community made up of students, faculty members, and staff on regular basis and special days like World Kindness Day etc.
The Industry Interaction Centre helps students prepare for their placement by giving them access to a range of possibilities and relevant information. For students to position themselves for a successful profession, they need business-related skills and knowledge. The center plans pre-placement training, workshops, and seminars for students to meet this need. Before the start of the actual placement process, the center gathers data from seniors, alumni, and business professionals as part of its preparation activities. It then holds pertinent workshops and practice sessions and offers prompt feedback.

FMS-IRM builds entrepreneurial ecosystems through linkages with businesses and offers students entrepreneurial guidance on matters like licenses, consultancy, and spin-offs. It aims to increase student’s entrepreneurial skills so they can succeed in starting their own business. IRM imparts a wide range of theoretical views, research techniques, and issues spanning various situations in which the phenomena of entrepreneurship are seen and used. The curriculum covers classes in related fields like organisational theory, strategy, and economics. Faculty members are qualified and skilled to lead research in fields including entrepreneurial cognition, entrepreneurial opportunity, entrepreneurship theory, high-growth entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial networks, entrepreneurial ecosystems, and international entrepreneurship.
